Dachshund / Mixed (short coat) Dog

Charlie the Dog needs a home

CHARLIE ~ He’s a fawn colored 6 years old and 16.6 pounds dachshund mix. A very calm, gentle and loving dog.

An ideal home for Charlie is preferably with someone home most of the time and one with a playmate. He should be crated or confined if leaving the home until he can be trusted. He’s been known to get into mischief if left alone with free rein of the house. A house is preferred, because he can be vocal when no one is around.

He isn’t timid or skittish at all, and is very inquisitive and friendly. He consistently wags his tail, and seems to very much enjoy being a couch companion during long tv binges. He gets along well with other dogs, and does not bark or act standoffish with them at all. In fact, he barks so little, that for the first couple of days his foster mom and dad didn't think he could bark!

He is very sweet, and deserves to go to a loving home. We can guarantee your love will be returned ten-fold. He’s a wonderful and amazing foster waiting for his person or family to come along.

He’s neutered, vaccinated and microchipped. Come meet him at an upcoming adoption event. If you are interested in meeting or adopting him please complete an adoption application and schedule your home check so you are pre-approved.
